Jonathan Walsh is a business consultant and staff accountant at Kern and Company, P.C., Certified Public Accountants. Founded in 1980, the firm serves the Eastern and Central Pennsylvania market.

Jonathan is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Jonathan also pursued Accounting coursework at Penn State Harrisburg.

Jonathan began his career as an intern with Kern and Company, P.C. in January of 2008, while finishing his coursework at Penn State Harrisburg. Prior to Kern and Company, P.C., Jonathan worked for Nationwide Insurance Co. as Claims Representative. Prior to Nationwide Insurance, Jonathan worked for CitiFinancial Inc. as a Financial Services Representative.

His work at Kern and Company, P.C. involves a variety of accounting, auditing, consulting, and tax areas. He specializes in both individual and corporate taxation and tax planning, with a concentration in the audit of religious not-for-profit organizations. At Kern and Company, P.C. he is involved with various aspects of the firm’s internal strategic planning, marketing efforts, and CPE administration.

Jonathan is a member of and on the board of directors for the Lower Swatara Lions Club.

Jonathan’s hobbies include traveling, golfing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, camping, basketball, tennis, and running. During the summertime, Jonathan loves spending his weekends at the beach.
